The summer of 2025 marked the release of the third edition of MAMBO’s newsletter, followed by a supplement edition in October of the same year. Both issues provide an overview of project developments during an eventful period, highlighting the latest scientific outputs and relevant news. 

Key project updates include a feature in Horizon Magazine, MAMBO's Annual General Meeting and presentation of a drone and allometry workflow in Colombia, among others. In terms of synergies, the newsletters feature information on many collaborative actions with the GUARDEN project, including a mutual policy brief on plant community identification, the PlantCLEF 2025 co-funded challenge for AI-Driven plant community identification, co-organised training sessions on GeoPl@ntNet and Pl@ntNet Plot and co-hosted the DeepSDM conference on AI for biodiversity.
